How do I create a Mzansibet account?

Complete the registration page and click NEXT.
On the second page, select your form of verification and confirm your date of birth. Complete both of the tick boxes for promotions, as well as terms and conditions and privacy policy.
A message with your registration code will be sent via SMS.
Enter the verification code.

How do I FICA my Mzansibet account?
To comply with FICA legislation, Mzansibet is required by law to collect all players’ identity verification documents. All registered players must submit a clear copy of the following:
Identity Document (a certified copy of an ID document or Driver’s License). Proof of Residence (a copy of bank statement or utility bill, not older than three months).
You can upload all the necessary documents straight into your personal profile. Once you have signed in, go to the ‘Documents’ page to upload. How can I log into my account once it is created?

I’m unable to register because it says my details already exist. What should I do?
This message indicates that you’ve already registered with Mzansibet. Please get in touch with our Customer Support team with your first and last name, email address, or ID number, and we’ll verify your account status. You may need to reset your password to regain access to your account.
Am I authorised to have more than one account?
No, we allow only one betting account per person/household to keep things fair on Mzansibet. Should any additional registrations be made using false information, Mzansibet reserves the right immediately to terminate the customer’s betting account and to bar the customer from future use of the services.
I have forgotten my password. What shall I do?
The fastest way to reset your password is to click LOG IN, then the ‘FORGOT PASSWORD?’ link. You will then be asked to enter the email address with which you registered the account, and then you will receive an email with a link to create a new password. It takes about 30 seconds to do. If you can’t reset the password yourself or you can’t get into your email account, contact our customer care team via live chat or email support@mzansibet.com, and once we’ve confirmed you are who you say you are, we can reset your password.
I have registered but cannot place a bet; what must I do?
There might be a few reasons why you cannot place a bet:

What is FICA?
Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA) is a legislation implemented by the South African government to fight crimes related to money laundering and all online and land-based financial crimes. FICA is regulated by the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board.
Do I need to FICA my Mzansibet account?
Yes, as per South African government regulations, all players at Mzansibet must verify and FICA their accounts.Terms for Promotion Offer
- These terms and conditions govern your participation in "The Sports Welcome Offer" offered by Mzansibet. If you do not adhere to these terms and conditions, you are not permitted to participate in the promotion.
- The Sports Welcome Offer is Bet R100, Get R100. This gives a new customer a R100 Extra Bet when they place 1 x R100 whole real money bet on any sports market, at minimum odds of 2.0. When placing the real money bet, it must be a minimum total of R100, any bets placed under this amount do not qualify for this offer. Any bets placed under the odds of 2.0 will also not qualify for this offer.
- In order to participate, the customer must be over the age of 18.
- This offer is only valid for new Mzansibet customers.
- The Bet R100 Get R100 Offer can only be claimed once per new customer.
- Customers have 30 days from first registration to meet the minimum qualification criteria. Customers must place their qualifying R100 whole real money bet and it must settle within this time period in order to be credited their R100 Extra Bet.
- The customer must pass FICA verification through Mzansibet’s automatic verification tool at the time of registration. Should the automatic verification fail, Mzansibet will request FICA documents and only once the customer’s FICA documentation has been verified will they be eligible to claim The Sports Welcome Offer.
Qualifying
- In order to qualify for The Sports Welcome Offer, new customers must place a whole real money bet totalling a minimum of R100 on any single or multiple selection(s) on any sports markets at minimum odds of 2.0. Bets placed under the minimum odds of 2.0 will not count as a qualifying bet. Any bets placed on games do not contribute.
- The R100 Extra Bet will be credited once the qualifying bet has settled, regardless of win or loss, therefore any cashed out or voided bets will not qualify for this promotion.
- The Sports Welcome R100 Extra Bet will only be awarded instantly once the qualifying bet has settled
Extra Bet
- Once the R100 Extra Bet is credited to your account, customers need to carry out the following actions in order to successfully place their R100 Extra Bet: -Press “Activate” on the sports promotions page -Go to the sports page and add selections to the betslip -Press the Extra Bet icon in the betslip and then press “place bet”.
- The R100 Extra Bet can only be used on any sports markets at minimum odds of 2.0.
- Maximum Extra Bet winnings of R50,000 applies. The betslip will automatically not allow any bets that attempt to win more than this amount with the Extra Bet.
- The only Extra Bet value that will be awarded is R100, regardless of how much was staked on the qualifying bet for this offer.
- The R100 Extra Bet will expire 7 days after it is awarded if it is not used.
- The R100 Extra Bet can only be used once and cannot be part-used.
- The R100 Extra Bet is an "Extra Bet", therefore the Extra Bet stake amount is not included in the Extra Bet winnings.
- Any winnings from the placement of the R100 Extra Bet will be credited to the cash balance.
